Disclaimers & Deposits

A  $250 Reservation & Security Deposit is required to reserve your trailer for the dates you select. This deposit will be returned in the full amount if the trailer is brought back in the same condition in which it left, along with both black/gray water tanks emptied.

Reservation cancellation: The Reservation & Security Deposit will only be refunded with six weeks or longer notice of cancellation. If a refund is given, a $125 cancellation fee will be deducted from the total deposit amount.

Renters must be at least 25 years old and are responsible for providing a valid US drivers license. In addition, renters must provide proof of insurance with liability coverage that extends to the tow vehicle, their insurance policy number, the agent’s name and telephone number. Renters must also provide the location that the trailer will be transported to and from during the rental period.

The renter is responsible for the towing vehicle’s safe operation, obeying all posted traffic laws and ensuring that all tires are inflated to the manufacturer’s required setting. We suggest that you do not exceed 55 MPH or the posted speed limit (whichever is less) while towing a trailer.

The renter is responsible for providing or renting a trailer braking system for trailers that exceed the 3,000 lb. limit.

The renter is responsible for using a tow vehicle that is capable of towing the trailer that he/she rented along with any and all gear that is added subsequent to renting the trailer.

The renter is responsible for lifting all leveling jacks before towing the trailer.

The renter is responsible for checking the tow vehicle and travel trailer’s tires before leaving the camping location.

The renter is responsible for having the safety chains attached before towing the trailer.

The renter is responsible for lowering the awning to suit wind conditions. We suggest that you lower the awning when you are not present.

If you use a generator you are responsible for using the proper wiring and connectors. If you damage the electrical component of the trailer you are required to pay for the repairs.

In the event of an accident, the renter is responsible for paying the $500 deductible.

In the event of an accident, the renter is responsible for obtaining the accident report number and a copy of the police report.

If you damage the trailer you will be responsible for any and all repairs.

Adventure Travel Trailer Rentals retains the right to refuse service to anyone who we feel is not capable of safely using our equipment, has an unsafe tow vehicle or is visibly intoxicated.

Payments

We accept cash, checks*, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).

*All returned checks will have a $100 processing fee.
